Thrust Needle Roller and Cage Assemblies are the complements of small diameter needle rollers, arranged in spoke-like configuration. Needle rollers are equally spaced means of cage, its web section separates the rollers and provides guidance to keep them tracking in an orbital path. The purpose of these assemblies is to transmit a thrust load between two relatively rotating objects while greatly reducing friction. Thrust Needle Roller and Cage Assemblies also can be utilized with lipped washer to serve as raceway surface for the needle rollers. Washers can be supplied separately or can be mechanically unitized to the Thrust Needle Roller and Cage Assemblies for ease of handling.

Koyo RC-162110-FS Inch Series Caged Drawn Cup Roller Clutch, 1 in Dia Bore, 1.313 in OD, 5/8 in W, CW/CCW, 439 in-lb Torque
Drawn cup needle roller clutches are similar to drawn cup needle roller bearings in design, however, they allow free rotation in only one direction while transmitting torque in the opposite direction. These designs use the same small radial section as drawn cup needle roller bearings and are offered as clutch-only units or as clutch and bearing assemblies.
Koyo RCB-162117 Inch Series Caged Round Bore Drawn Cup Roller Clutch With Integral Spring, 1 in Dia Bore, 1-5/16 in OD, 1-1/16 in W, CW/CCW, 439 in-lb Torque

Koyo TRA-1018 Double Direction Thrust Washer, 15.88 mm ID x 28.58 mm OD, 0.81 mm W
Ideally, a thrust washer should be stationary with respect to and piloted by its supporting or backing member whether or not this is an integral part of the shaft or housing. There should be no rubbing action between the thrust washer and any other machine member. The economics of design, however, often preclude these ideal conditions and thrust washers must be employed in another manner. In such cases, design details should be determined in consultation with your representative.

Koyo YCRS-24 Inch Series Uncaged Yoke Type Needle Bearing Track Roller, 7/16 in Dia Bore, 1-1/2 in Dia x 7/8 in W Roller, 4530 lbf Dynamic/6460 lbf Static Load
Track rollers (also known as cam followers) are characterized by their thick-walled outer rings that run directly on a track. The thick outer rings permit high load-carrying capability while minimizing both distortion and bending stresses. Sealed designs with internal thrust washers help extend service life under conditions of infrequent lubrication.

Precision Steel Ball Bushing® bearings offer great improvements in efficiency, productivity and accuracy over high-friction plain bearings flat-ways. The all-steel design makes the bearing product line perfect for replacing plain bearings in high temperature applications. Rigid construction makes them very durable compared to ball bushing bearings with polymer components. When installed in a standard Thomson® pillow block, the Precision Steel Ball Bushing® bearing can self-align up to 3 deg in all directions.

The Super Ball Bushing® bearing has been the industry standard for self-aligning linear bearings for over twenty years. This bearing provides three times the load capacity or 27 times the travel life of conventional linear bearings. Besides the dramatic increase in load capacity, the Super Ball Bushing® bearing is self-aligning, lightweight and adjustable with a low coefficient of friction. It is a quick and easy replacement for high friction plain bearings. The wear-resistant, engineered-polymer retainers and outer sleeves reduce inertia and noise in critical, high speed applications.

A tapered roller bearing consists of a cone (or inner ring), the cup (or outer ring), tapered rollers and a cage. The tapered rollers allows the bearing to handle a combination of heavy radial and thrust loads. The bearings are separable. Internal clearance is established during mounting by the axial positioning of the cone relative to the cup. Preloading this bearing can obtain a higher rigidity and better running accuracy to optimize performance. They are used mostly for heavy duty, moderate speed applications. These bearings are generally used in pairs and are most common on agriculture, construction and mining equipment, vehicle and trailer axles and in gear boxes.
