Track rollers (also known as cam followers) are characterized by their thick-walled outer rings that run directly on a track. The thick outer rings permit high load-carrying capability while minimizing both distortion and bending stresses. Sealed designs with internal thrust washers help extend service life under conditions of infrequent lubrication.
Needle Roller Cam Followers have a heavy outer ring cross section and a full complement of needle rollers.
