EATON's type BR (1 in) combination AFCI is available in 15 and 20 A configurations and includes options for 22 kAIC interrupting rating. Eaton has also made a diagnostic version of the BR arc fault which includes an led, indicating the most recent trip code to assist in troubleshooting.

Eaton's residential CH circuit breakers provide premium overload protection. The Type CH circuit breakers trip to the OFF position, eliminating nuisance callbacks. The CHF family also includes a trip flag to differentiate between a trip and the breaker being turned off. The thermal-magnetic trip curve avoids nuisance tripping on mild overloads while reacting almost instantaneously to severe short-circuit conditions. Multiple breakers have an internal common trip connection to operate all poles simultaneously. Handles are marked with ON-OFF indication and ampere rating of the breaker.

EATON's CH ground fault current interrupters (GFCIs) are 3/4 in W and provide superior safety over a standard electrical outlet in areas where electricity may come into contact with water. GFCIs are required in any application near water such as kitchen countertops, bathrooms, swimming pools, hot tubs and outdoor receptacles. They immediately break the circuit when electrical current leakage is detected, reducing the risk of shock and electrocution.

They serve as main breaker for service entrances or as main lug when adding circuits to existing service. The main breaker protects the entire panel and can be used as a service disconnect. The branch breakers protect the wires leading to individual electrical loads such as fixtures and outlets.
