Double Split Tapered Bushings are used on sheaves, sprockets and pulleys to provide increased clamping force over standard bore-to-size components. They are tapered in design with flanges and utilize cap screws to tighten on the shaft. The double split design assures better concentricity to the shaft and provides the highest degree of mechanical locking component to component. Most sizes are contructed of ductile iron to provide strength and duarability.
