A 1.65 in. starter hole is all that is needed to start or start from the edge of the material. A nibbler is also what you need if you are cutting corrugated metal. This chisel is specifically designed for SDS Plus rotary hammers and should be used in hammer only mode.

They produce drill press quality holes even in hand held operations. For cutting materials over 3/8 in. up to a depth of 1/2 in., a drill press is recommended.
