Milwaukee® Thunderbolt® pilot bits are designed for extreme durability and long life. The Thunderbolt® web features a thicker core than a standard pilot bit, which provides ultimate strength and protects against side-load breakage. The spring-loaded pilot bit provides complete plug ejection for clean, efficient cutting of each hole. Milwaukee® hole saw arbors are made from hardened carbon steel and alloy steel for greater durability. The 49-56-9100 features a 7/16 in. hex shank, which can be used with any 7/16 in. extension. The 49-56-9100 also features a drive plate which is tightened up to the hole saw to eliminate wobble between the Arbor and hole saw.

Milwaukee® Carbide tipped pilot bits are designed for long life in abrasive materials. Use for drilling fiberglass, brick, block and tile.

Milwaukee® 49-56-8000 Pilot Bit, 1/4 in Arbor, High Speed Steel

Milwaukee® Carbide grit hole saws are designed for cutting abrasive materials such as brick, block, cement board, fiberglass and tile. Use a Carbide tipped pilot bit when cutting ceramic tile, brick, and other abrasive materials.

This Milwaukee hole saw arbor has a 7/16 in. hex shank for greater gripping capability in the chuck. The backing plate is equipped with push pins which lock into holes on the backing plate of the hole saw for positive efficient transmission of torque. It can be used in 1/2 in. capacity drills and larger. The arbor has a 5/8 - 18 thread and can be used on hole saws from 1-1/4 in. and larger. It can be used with (49-56-8000), (49-56-8002) and (49-56-8005) pilot bits. Pilot bit (49-56-8000) is supplied with this arbor for use on wood and metal. One arbor and pilot per package.

The arbor has a 1/2 - 20 thread and can be used on hole saws from 9/16 in. to 1-3/16 in.. it can be used with 49-56-8000, 49-56-8002 and 49-56-8005 pilot bits. Pilot bit 49-56-8000 is supplied with this arbor for use on wood and metal. One arbor and pilot per package.
