O-rings are closed circular rings of circular cross-section. They are made through vulcanization from form tools as a complete ring. The sealing function of the O-ring is achieved by the deformation of the cross-section when installed and compressed in its housing. The O-ring can be compressed either radially or axially in its installation housing. In operating conditions the pressure exerted by the media reinforces the sealing function, as under pressure the elastomer material functions as a non-compressible fluid.
Fist Grip® wire rope clips from Crosby® differ from traditional wire rope clips, with bolts and heavy hex nuts comprising the design. This allows for the nuts to be installed in a way that lets the operator swing the wrench in a full arc for quick install. Saddles are forged steel, with the entire clip galvanized for corrosion resistance.
Provides an efficiency rating of 80% for sizes 3/16" - 7/8", and 90% for sizes 1" - 1-1/2". All sizes meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements. All sizes also meet additional critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not address by ASME B30.26.
Browning® offers an extensive multi-groove sheave offering. This includes Browning® Split-Taper® and QD® bushing designs. This means maximum economy and versatility for your application. Truly the right drive every time our exclusive B5V® sheaves have a patented design that offers 5V horsepower in the economy of a B section sheave. B5V® sheaves serve 90% of all applications from 10 to 150 hp. This can reduce cost up to 40% over traditional designs.
Conveyor coupling shafts are used to join individual lengths of conveyor screws and allow for rotation within the hanger bearing. Steel couplings are normally furnished, however couplings with hardened bearing surfaces may be furnished where highly abrasive materials are being conveyed. Jig drilling allows for ease of installation.
