Gardner Bender HST-187 Heat Shrink Tubing, 3/16 in ID Expanded, 3/32 in ID Recovered, 4 in L, Polyolefin, Black
The Gardner Bender 3/16 in heat shrink tubing (8-Pack) provides abrasion and moisture protection for electrical wire and cable. This tubing is constructed of flame-retardant polyolefin.
Aluminum oxide grain
High quality DA-F material for high flexibility
Medium tensile strength
Primarily for hand applications
Gardner Bender HST-125 Heat Shrink Tubing, 1/8 in ID Expanded, 1/16 in ID Recovered, 4 in L, Polyolefin, Black
Thin wall heat-shrink tubing is constructed from durable, flame-retardant black polyolefin which is resistant to both solvents and fluids making it ideal for cable insulation, repair, marking or bundling. Heat shrink not only provides superior mechanical, abrasion and moisture protection but also strengthens connections and provides a comfortable gripping surface. As a result, professional and DIY multi-purpose uses include repairing cords (ranging from large appliance cords to small electronic cables that show wear at pull-out), covering tool and sporting equipment handles, and sealing rope for neat, unravel resistant ends. Finally, tubing capably resists common fluids and solvents. Upon heating to 120 deg C (250 deg F) the tubing begins to shrink but will not drip, crack or flow and is self-extinguishing within 30 seconds. Meets UL 224, 125 deg C: CSA C22.2 No3 198.1, 125 deg C; MIL-DTL-23053/5, Class 1 and 2, AMS 3636 and 3637, DEF STAN 59-79, Issue 3 Type 2a. Continuous operating temperature: -55 deg C (-67 deg F) to 135 deg C (275 deg F). Shrink temperature: 120 deg C (250 deg F) to 250 deg C (480 deg F). 600 V/Mil Dielectric strength.
Aluminum oxide grain
High quality DA-F material for high flexibility
Medium tensile strength
Primarily for hand applications
Resin over resin construction for a strong bond that is resistant to heat and moisture
Egyptian cotton cloth backing for superior durability
Available in two tensile strengths for a wide range of applications
