The DeWALT® DWE4887 1-1/2 in die grinder features a 4.2 A, 25000 rpm motor which provides high power and speed for all 1-1/2 in grinding applications. This tool also has AC/DC capacity that works off welding machines and generators for increased productivity and versatility. It offers a convenient paddle switch with lock-on button for easy gripping - lock-off prevents accidental start ups. This grinder is designed with a single-piece collet and nut for hassle-free accessory changes - a precision 1/4 in collet securely holds all proper accessories (1/8 in reducing sleeve as optional accessory). An angled exhaust path directs debris away from user and the small body diameter provides comfortable gripping area. Amp capacity is 4.2 A, with a no load speed up to 2500 rpm. Includes: (2) wrenches and (1) 1/4 in collet.

Sure-Grip® quick detachable bushings are easy to install and remove. Split-through flange and taper provide a true clamp on the shaft that is equivalent to a shrink fit. All sizes except JA and QT have a set screw over the key to help maintain the bushing's position on the shaft until the cap screws are securely tightened. Versatile Sure-Grip® bushings permit the mounting of the same mating part on shafts of different diameters and the mounting of different sheaves on the same shaft using the same bushing.
