Double Split Tapered Bushings are used on sheaves, sprockets and pulleys to provide increased clamping force over standard bore-to-size components. They are tapered in design with flanges and utilize cap screws to tighten on the shaft. The double split design assures better concentricity to the shaft and provides the highest degree of mechanical locking component to component. Most sizes are contructed of ductile iron to provide strength and duarability. Each Split Taper Bushing series is produced in a number of different bore size options, most that include a keyway, allowing users flexibility when using sheaves, sprockets or pulleys in applications that may utilize various shaft sizes.

O-rings are closed circular rings of circular cross-section. They are made through vulcanization from form tools as a complete ring. In operating conditions the pressure exerted by the media reinforces the sealing function, as under pressure the elastomer material functions as a non-compressible fluid.
