- Four spring loaded clasters on 2-5 step models
- Casters retract when load is placed on the ladder, setting the adder firmly in place on rubber tips
- When the load is removed springs push down the casters enabling the ladder to move about freely
- Locking device -models 6-step and taller come equipped with a trage 4 in swivel caster in front and rigid casters in the rear
- Stepping on bottom step activates the locking mechanism, locking rubber tipped feet in down position
- To move the ladder, just step on the unlocking pedal
