Type S flanges sizes 6 through 16 are manufactured of high strength cast iron then bored-to-size for slip fit on standard shafts. Size 5 is made of sintered carbon steel. Flanges are easy to install and remove, and are stocked in a wide range of bore sizes. All sleeve materials may be used with type S flanges.
Transport chain is considered the chain of choice for load binding applications. It is also well suited for tie-downs, towing and logging operations. Engineered for maximum strength, this domestic transport chain is made from heat treated carbon strength steel. Heat treatment is associated with increased steel strength which improves product performance. Its strength to weight ratio exceeds that of proof coil and high-test. This chain meets department of transportation regulations and is permanently stamped with its working load limit every ten links. Order unit is foot. Not for overhead lifting.
