Made from 1/2 in W, C1095 close grain, high carbon spring steel. Material is ground and polished to precision tolerances. Steel feeler gage is used in most general maintenance and tool and die applications. Thickness is clearly marked every 6 in metric and decimal. Precision Brand® feeler gage is used in manufacturing and maintenance operations wherever setting close spacing or checking extremely tight tolerances is required.
The Starrett 6 Screw Pitch Gage includes a substantial steel case, a number of folding leaves at both end, and 30 leaves. This model features a 4-42 TPI range.
The Starrett 565 Drive Pin Punch is well proportioned, hardened, properly tempered, nicely finished, and have a knurled finger grip. Each punch has the size stamped on the head. 100mm (4") length, 5mm (3/16") Diameter.
