WEATHER GUARD STEEL BRITE WHITE STANDARD CHESTS WTG 665-3-01

Portable Tool Boxes & Chests
$1,132.69

Maximize your visibility. All-purpose chests sit below the bedrail accommodating tonneau covers and lids. The model 665-3-01 steel full size chest features a brite white Armor-Tuf® powder coat finish that ensures years of dependability and has a storage capacity of 13.1 cu ft. The cover opens to 90 degree for maximum access using a unique offset hinge design that still allows installation flush against the truck cab. The rotary-style latch mechanism keeps the cover tight against the weather seal and provides smooth one touch opening.

A setscrew shaft attachment method is the most common means of securing a mounted ball bearing to a shaft and also the easiest to install. The Dodge® mounted ball bearing offering is engineered with a 65 deg setscrew angle. This ensures the maximum grip onto the shaft, especially when using premium cup point set screws with the high quality manufacturing of the Dodge® insert.

IKO designs and manufactures a broad selection of Cam Followers to meet the diverse needs of applications including machine tools, industrial robots, electronic parts production and office automation equipment. A Cam Follower is a bearing that incorporates needle style rollers between a stud and a thick outer ring.

Bevel and miter gearing is a form of gearing in which the tooth-bearing surfaces are the faces of the gears rather than the edges. In bevel and miter gearing, the gears are cone shaped. This allows the edges of the mating gears to mesh and transmit torque. The geometry of the mesh creates a 90 deg angle. As a result, this type of gearing is suitable for applications where a change of direction is required. Other designs exist to create other angles however 90 deg serves the majority of applications. In bevel and miter gearing the input and output shaft are intersecting. It is typical for bevel and miter gear reducers to have lower reduction ratios. For example, 5:1 and lower are typical and they are different than other types of gearing. Two types of bevel and miter gearing are typical. These are straight and spiral. As the name implies, the teeth of straight bevel gears are cut straight. This means that the teeth are oriented perpendicular to the outside edge of the gear. The teeth on spiral bevel gears are cut at an angle to the outside edge of the gear. This type of gearing is said to have "helical" teeth and the angle is called the "helix" angle. Bevel and miter gearing have proven reliable for many years. The use of this type of gearing extends across many industries. Some of these include food processing, woodworking, paper and textile.
