8-pitch taps are ideal for use in the oil field, gas exploration equipment, and power generation plants. These taps are of larger diameters with standard sizes up to 4" in diameter.
5/16 in brass hose mender fittings are used to assemble new hoses or replace old fittings on hoses. A hose clamp may also be used but is not as desirable. For best results and professional finished product the hose end should be secured with a crimped ferrule. Both ends have hose barbs.
