Top Pick LOCTITE® Hi-Tack Gasket Sealant prevents seizing, correct gasket alignment, easy disassembly. Red-colored, liquid sealant that holds gaskets in place during assembly. Seals and bonds rubber, cork, paper, felt, metal, and asbestos gaskets. Sets quickly to a very tacky movie. Suitable for 500 deg F (260 deg C). Contains no ozone-depleting compounds. Applications include weather stripping, waterproofing electrical connections.
LOCTITE® SI 593 BLACK is a black, general purpose, one-part silicone adhesive sealant which cures at room temperature to form a tough rubber seal. Will not slump in overhead gold vertical applications. It has been formulated with extreme temperature cycling, UV light, and ozone. It can not be painted and is also available in clear and white.
