Browning® 1045459 VP Series Type 2 Variable Pitch Sheave, 1-1/8 in Finished Bore, 4-3/4 in OD, 1 Groove, 3.3 to 4.1 in (3L)/3.6 to 4.6 in (A/4L)/3.8 to 4.8 in (B/5L) Dia Pitch, 3/4 to 1-1/8 in W Face
The principle of a variable pitch sheave is that the threaded angular faced discs forming the V-shaped groove in which the belt rides are movable. VP sheaves consist of a male with a threaded barrel, and a female with a threaded bore. The male section with threaded barrel has flat surfaces at 180 deg increments that allow a flat surface for the setscrew to mate with. When the discs are moved toward each other, the belt rides higher in the groove and the pitch diameter of the sheave is larger which increases the driven speed. When the discs are moved away from each other, the belt rides lower and the pitch diameter is smaller decreasing the driven speed. The common term for this speed adjustment is called number of turns open from closed position.

IKO BA1612ZOH Inch Series Caged Shell Standard Needle Roller Bearing With Oil Hole and Dust Cover, 1 in Dia Bore, 1-1/4 in OD, 1 Row, 3/4 in W, 14200 N Dynamic/24300 N Static Load
IKO manufactures a wide range of radial Needle Roller Bearings to meet the needs of different applications and machine profiles. These include shell type bearings, needle roller cages for both general use and within engine connecting rods and machined type Needle Roller Bearings. Shell type Needle Roller Bearings are lightweight, low profile motion components designed to handle either high speeds or heavy loads, depending on the configuration. An outer ring made of high strength steel enables a streamlined profile with the lowest sectional height of all the Needle Roller Bearings.
Koyo IR-88 Inch Series Regular Width Inner Ring, 1/2 in ID x 3/4 in OD, 0.515 in OAW, For Use With B-126, B-128, J-126, J-128, M-1261, M-1281 Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing, Steel
Where it becomes impractical to meet the shaft raceway design requirements (hardness, case depth, surface finish, etc.) outlined in the engineering section, standard inner rings for drawn cup bearings are available. Inner rings for drawn cup bearings are designed to be a loose transition fit on the shaft and should be clamped against a shoulder. If a tight transition fit must be used to keep the inner ring from rotating relative to the shaft, the inner ring OD as mounted, must not exceed the raceway diameters required by the drawn cup bearing for the particular application.
