Dodge® Taper-Lock® bushings are flangeless for clean, compact application. They are engineered with an 8 deg taper and a flush-mounted design with no protruding parts providing secure locking and elimination of wobble.
The 7124-2 fiberglass 24 ft extension ladder is made with non-conductive fiberglass side rails featuring TRACTION-TRED® slip resistant round rungs. The top of the fly section has pre-pierced holes for easy installation of accessories. Guides at the top of the base and internal guides at bottom of fly section securely interlock the rails. The plate and rung assemblies are riveted at four points to the side rails. The base and fly sections separate easily to use base section as a single ladder. Durable rail shield and shoe brackets protect rails from damage. These durable ladders boast a duty rating of 375 pounds.
Sure-Grip® quick detachable bushings are easy to install and remove. Split-through flange and taper provide a true clamp on the shaft that is equivalent to a shrink fit. All sizes except JA and QT have a set screw over the key to help maintain the bushing's position on the shaft until the cap screws are securely tightened. Versatile Sure-Grip® bushings permit the mounting of the same mating part on shafts of different diameters and the mounting of different sheaves on the same shaft using the same bushing.
