  • Combination Groove - All Browning B Sheaves permit the running of A and B Belts to be run in them, thus providing a variety of different pitch diameters and horsepowers
  • Close Grain Cast iron - Close grain cast iron allows Browning to machine our sheaves to the closest tolerances possible
  • Statically Balanced - All MVP companion sheaves are statically balanced to assure smooth, vibration free performance
  • VP sheaves consist of a male with a threaded barrel, and a female with a threaded bore
  • The male section with threaded barrel has flat surfaces at 180 deg increments that allow a flat surface for the setscrew to mate with
  • When discs are moved toward each other, the belt rides higher in the groove and the pitch diameter of the sheave is larger which increases the driven speed
  • Close Grain Cast iron - Close grain cast iron allows Browning to machine our sheaves to the closest tolerances possible

DOUBLE SHIELDED BALL BEARING-GULR62Z >

A tapered roller bearing consists of a cone (or inner ring), the cup (or outer ring), tapered rollers and a cage. The tapered rollers allows the bearing to handle a combination of heavy radial and thrust loads. The bearings are separable. Internal clearance is established during mounting by the axial positioning of the cone relative to the cup. Preloading this bearing can obtain a higher rigidity and better running accuracy to optimize performance. They are used mostly for heavy duty, moderate speed applications. These bearings are generally used in pairs and are most common on agriculture, construction and mining equipment, vehicle and trailer axles and in gear boxes.
